Ironic that the fitness challenge is announced the day that I randomly decide to resume an Ab Ripper X (from P90x) routine. When I was in college and had a lot more free time I mixed that with cardio and weights and lost 45 pounds in three months, so we'll see what happens in the real world! Anyone else ever try Ab Ripper? It hurts like a bitch!

Commenting on picture 'cause Kinja won't let me reply.....
I started Ab Ripper X on Sunday after not doing it for three years, at the moment am only making it halfway through before my abs feel like I'm about to puke. Hopefully my rock climbing level improves over the coming weeks, that's all I can really ask for.

Ha, yeah I could only do a little more than half of the reps this morning, and by tonight I'll be completely hunched over.

What's the fitness challenge? Would I be disqualified if I am an amateur bodybuilding, powerlifter and I train 2.5 hours a day 6 days a week? Also, have been a marathon runner, triathlete, adventure racer, swimmer, and Marine?

I think anyone is welcome! It seems pretty informal. Ask this guy: http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/add-lightness-…

I used to do ab ripper when I used to do P90X when I used to be younger and when I used to not be overweight.
I miss it. Need to start up again.

He is a tool. But results don't lie!

Actually, I wasn't satisfied with my results. I did the full 90 day torture workout plan. Maybe lost 5 pounds, I was stronger for sure. However I have received better results from Insanity and plain old weights that his program. YMMV.
